A Hai Duong driver received the "Golden Steering Wheel" Award.

Driver Bui Duy Vung honored to receive the "Golden Steering Wheel" Award

On the evening of December 29, in Hanoi, the National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC) coordinated to organize the "Golden Steering Wheel" Award ceremony with the theme "Golden Steering Wheel 2022 - 10-year journey".

The Organizing Committee awarded 10 groups and 50 individuals the "Golden Steering Wheel" Award, 5 groups and 10 individuals the "Traffic Culture" Award. Among them, a driver in Hai Duong was honored to receive the "Golden Steering Wheel" Award. That driver is Bui Duy Vung, born in 1977 in Cam Lo village, Tan Viet commune (Thanh Ha). Mr. Vung is a fixed-route driver of Tan Viet Passenger and Tourism Transport Cooperative (Thanh Ha).

Mr. Vung's safe driving mileage in the year is 135,000 km. During his 12 years working at the Cooperative, Mr. Vung has always complied with traffic laws and has not had any traffic accidents from December 1, 2016 to November 30, 2022 (the time of award consideration).

"Golden Steering Wheel" is an annual award of the National Traffic Safety Committee to encourage and reward transport businesses and drivers who have made many contributions to ensuring traffic safety and order, thereby contributing to raising awareness and consciousness of the general public and drivers in particular in complying with traffic safety and order laws and preventing traffic accidents.
