For violating regulations on protecting irrigation works, Mr. Vu Van Luu in Thong Nhat commune (Gia Loc) was fined 40 million VND.
Decision to punish Mr. Vu Van Luu, in Thong Nhat commune (Gia Loc)
On August 18, the Chairman of Gia Loc District People's Committee issued a decision to administratively fine Mr. Vu Van Luu, in Thong Nhat Commune, 40 million VND.
On May 12, Vu Van Luu illegally gathered raw materials, materials, and vehicles within the protection area of the irrigation works, corresponding to km 16 to km 16+100 on the right bank of Dinh Dao canal, in Dong Quang commune. The gathered raw materials included: sand, stone, reinforced concrete pipes, cement, unburnt bricks, and concrete mixers.
The above acts and penalties are stipulated in Clause 7, Article 24, Decree No. 03/2022/ND-CP, dated January 6, 2022 of the Government stipulating administrative sanctions for violations in the fields of natural disaster prevention and control, irrigation, and dikes.
Mr. Luu must also remove raw materials, materials and vehicles from the protected area of the irrigation project within 30 days.
