With a listed price of only 705 - 710 million VND depending on the color, Mitsubishi XForce leads the segment in terms of size, safety features and driving experience, threatening other strong competitors such as Toyota Yaris Cross or Hyundai Creta.
On the morning of June 18, Mitsubishi Motors Vietnam officially added to the market the most advanced version of the 4 product lines of XForce, called Ultimate. This is the highest price of the B-class crossover, but it comes with many worthy equipment.
At the top is the ADAS safety assistance technology package called Mitsubishi Motors Safety Sensing, with 6 superior features, including: adaptive cruise control (ACC), automatic high beam system (AHB), forward collision warning & mitigation system (FCM), front vehicle departure notification system (LCDN), blind spot warning system (BSW) and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA).
Next is a "toy" that is always at the top of the list of "things that need to be upgraded" of any car model: entertainment speakers. Specifically, Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate owns a high-end entertainment sound system with 8 speakers from the Yamaha brand, including: tweeters on the 2 A-pillars, bass speakers in the front doors and 2-way coaxial speakers in the rear doors, for sharp and consistent sound quality in all frequency ranges.
Other equipment that can be mentioned is: electric trunk with support for hands-free trunk opening and closing. Along with that is: full LED Projector lighting system, 8-inch dual screens behind the steering wheel and 12.3 inches in the center of the dashboard, 2-zone automatic air conditioning with air filter, wireless charger, interior lighting, electronic handbrake, automatic anti-glare mirror, 6 airbags, or 4 terrain modes.
However, the car still lacks some common amenities compared to its competitors, such as: electric seats with cooling, 360-degree camera or sunroof. In return, the water compartment under the center armrest is also cooled and the rear seats can be reclined up to 8 levels.
Similar to the 3 lower versions, Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate owns a 1.5L naturally aspirated MIVEC engine with CVT gearbox - similar to its senior Xpander - for a maximum capacity of 104 horsepower and 141 Nm, powerful enough to comfortably operate with 5 adults in the car.
According to the Japanese brand, Mitsubishi XForce Ultimate will be sold with 2 exterior options: 1 or 2 tones priced from 705 - 710 million VND. Customers who buy the car are receiving gifts of car models and attractive loan policies.
Although the launch information was announced in January, in fact, it was not until March that Mitsubishi had the goods to deliver the first XForce to customers. However, in March alone, this model immediately set a record of top 1 sales in the entire first quarter. In the following two months of April and May, XForce also consecutively won the second place in the best-selling B-class crossover segment, with cumulative sales from the beginning of the year to date reaching 2,942 vehicles - very formidable compared to the Toyota Yaris Cross or Hyundai Creta duo.
