MC Lai Van Sam has just had to speak up to warn about his impersonation to advertise eye supplements, causing public confusion.
Recently, journalist/MC Lai Van Sam posted an article on his personal page to warn about being impersonated on social networks. Specifically, a fake Facebook page used his name and image to advertise an eye supplement product, causing many people to trust and be deceived.
MC Lai Van Sam confirmed that he only uses one Facebook account with a blue tick. The reason he created this page is because there are too many people impersonating him with bad intentions. He emphasized that he has never participated in advertising for any product or brand.
"I have never, and will never advertise any product or brand!" - The veteran MC affirmed.
MC Lai Van Sam called on fans and the online community to raise their vigilance and avoid believing in false information and scams on social networks.
This is not the first time MC Lai Van Sam has been impersonated on social media. Previously, he was impersonated to advertise a series of products, especially medicine and functional foods.
Under the post, many friends, colleagues and audiences also expressed their agreement with the male journalist's opinion and advised everyone to be careful of fake tricks: "Exactly. Uncle Sam never advertises anything. An exemplary person", "Today, some people also took pictures of that page and asked me if it was your Facebook to buy eye medicine. I also knew and immediately said it was fake, uncle", "Thank you, Mr. Sam, for speaking up", "Mr. Sam is always the best, never advertises products for sale"...
The situation of artists and public figures being impersonated for bad purposes on social networks has become a problem. Before MC Lai Van Sam, many famous stars have encountered similar situations such as Dam Vinh Hung, Tran Thanh, Viet Huong, Lan Phuong...
A common feature of these fake pages is that they often have ambiguous names, or put fake blue ticks next to the names of artists and celebrities. These actions directly harm the reputation and image of celebrities.
