Southern region: Phu Quoc sees decline in tourist numbers

Estimated revenue is 2,890 billion VND, up 5.5% over the same period in 2022.

Northern region: Tourists to Hanoi increased by 51%

Lao Cai's total tourism revenue this time reached about 740 billion VND.

During the 4-day holiday, the whole province welcomed 222,705 visitors, an increase of 47.5% compared to the National Day holiday in 2022; including 19,646 international tourists and 203,059 domestic tourists. Revenue from tourists reached over 230 billion VND.

In Lai Chau, the cool, fresh climate, beautiful and attractive scenery, and easy transportation have attracted more than 107,000 visitors to the district.Moc ChauDuring the 4-day National Day holiday, revenue is estimated at over 123 billion VND.

However, according to the survey, most localities recorded a significant decrease in the number of visitors and revenue compared to the previous April 30 - May 1 holiday. On April 30, Thanh Hoa ranked second in tourism revenue with more than VND 2,800 billion and welcomed 1.2 million visitors. However, the number of visitors and revenue on September 2 holiday both decreased sharply, by 26.6% and 24% respectively.

Tourism revenue this holiday in Ho Chi Minh City only reached 93% compared to the April 30 holiday, while Hanoi only reached about 83%.
