Trước tình hình trên, Ban Giám đốc Công an tỉnh Sơn La đã chỉ đạo các lực lượng ra quân, hỗ trợ người dân sơ tán tài sản, khắc phục hậu quả do mưa lũ gây ra.

Colonel Nguyen Khac Ngoc, Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Son La Provincial Police, said: "That very night, when there was prolonged heavy rain and flooding in many places, the unit mobilized 60 officers and soldiers divided into 3 groups to support the people."

Chị Nguyễn Vân Anh (ở đường Trường Chinh, TP Sơn La) cho biết, nước dâng nhanh trong đêm nên gia đình chị bất lực nhìn đồ đạc bị nước nhấn chìm.
Ms. Nguyen Van Anh (on Truong Chinh Street, Son La City) said that the water rose quickly during the night, so her family watched helplessly as their belongings were submerged. "The Truong Chinh Street area was waist-deep in water, trapping my family and damaging many of our belongings. Fortunately, the authorities arrived in time to take my family to safety," Ms. Van Anh shared.
“Do mưa quá lớn, nước dâng cao, lại sống một mình nên tôi không thể di chuyển được. Nếu hôm nay không có lực lượng công an hỗ trợ tôi không biết phải chạy lũ thế nào”, một người dân sinh sống tại TP Sơn La nói.
“Because of the heavy rain, rising water, and living alone, I cannot move. If the police force had not helped me today, I would not have known how to escape the flood,” said a resident of Son La City.
Đến sáng nay (24/7), trời vẫn mưa tầm tã, nhiều khu vực ở trung tâm TP Sơn La giao thông tê liệt, người dân không thể di chuyển.
As of this morning, July 24, it is still raining heavily, many areas in the center of Son La city have paralyzed traffic, people cannot move.

Lai Chau: Muong Te, Tam Duong, Tan Uyen, Than Uyen.

Dien Bien: Muong Nhe, Muong Lay town, Nam Po.

Son La: Son La City, Mai Son, Yen Chau, Thuan Chau, Quynh Nhai, Muong La, Moc Chau, Van Ho, Phu Yen, Bac Yen, Song Ma, Sop Cop.

Hoa Binh: Luong Son, Da Bac, Kim Boi, Lac Son, Cao Phong, Mai Chau, Hoa Binh City, Ky Son, Lac Thuy, Tan Lac, Yen Thuy.

Yen Bai: Mu Cang Chai.

Phu Tho: Tan Son, Thanh Son, Thanh Thuy.
