In the days leading up to Tet, trade unions at all levels in Hai Duong province gave many gifts to workers who were unable to return home for Tet.
On the afternoon of February 8 (December 29), Chairwoman of the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa visited and presented 35 gifts (each worth VND 250,000) to workers and laborers who were unable to return home for Tet and were staying in Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city).
At the boarding houses, comrade Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa wished the workers a happy New Year, shared their difficulties, encouraged them to celebrate Tet happily and safely and strictly follow the law during the Tet holiday; requested the owners of the boarding houses where workers stay during Tet to actively care for the workers, share to create a happy Tet atmosphere for the workers.
On this occasion, the Hai Duong City Labor Federation also presented 8 gifts (each worth 250,000 VND) to workers and laborers who did not return home for Tet in Cam Thuong and Binh Han wards.
Previously, on the afternoon of February 7 (December 28), the Kim Thanh District Labor Federation visited and presented gifts to 9 heads of the Executive Board of the Workers' Self-Management Group of the dormitory area and presented 5 gifts to workers and laborers who did not return home for Tet.
