In response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, Hai Duong Provincial Library organized many meaningful activities, attracting a large number of students, parents, staff, teachers and book lovers.
On the morning of April 15, Hai Duong Provincial Library opened the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025. Mr. Nguyen Huu Gioi, Chairman of the Vietnam Library Association, representatives of departments, branches, teachers, librarians and hundreds of Hai Duong students attended.Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huu Gioi, Chairman of the Vietnam Library Association, said: On February 24, 2014, the Prime Minister issued a decision to make April 21 every year Vietnam Book Day. This is also the day leader Nguyen Ai Quoc published his famous work "Duong Kach Menh" in Guangzhou (China).Director of Hai Duong Provincial Library Nguyen Thi Thanh Giang received meaningful books donated by 1980 Books Culture and Communication Company to the library's readers.Delegates and guests visit the thematic book exhibition area. The book exhibition area is elaborately organized with attractive topics, including more than 1,000 books about the April 30 victory, the Dien Bien Phu victory and President Ho Chi Minh's birthday...Taking place from April 5 to April 21, 2025, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 with the theme "Entering the Era of National Growth with Books" is organized with many rich and attractive activities; motivating people to be more attached to books and develop the habit of reading.Students of Vo Thi Sau Primary School visit the exhibition and arrange books artistically. Many types of books are displayed such as local history books, life skills books, children's books, books about President Ho Chi Minh... This is an opportunity for readers to access a rich treasure trove of knowledge.Students also had the opportunity to interact directly with the host.
