On the morning of February 1, Kim Thanh district organized a meeting and exchange with young people preparing to join the army in 2023.
Kim Thanh district leaders give gifts to young people
With the theme "Promoting the tradition of the heroic Route 5 - Kim Thanh youth volunteering to build and protect the Fatherland", 185 young people listened to veterans review the glorious history of the nation; the tradition of Kim Thanh homeland in the two resistance wars against France and America; and exchanged questions and answers about knowledge related to the Law on Military Service.
District leaders have encouraged young people to promote the local revolutionary tradition, build strong political will, good moral qualities, have technical and tactical skills, master weapons and equipment, become excellent soldiers and members of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On this occasion, Kim Thanh district and communes and towns presented 185 gifts, each worth 1.5 million VND, to young people.
In 2023, Kim Thanh district assigned 160 young men to 5 military recruitment centers. Among the young men preparing to join the army, there is 1 party member, 5 children of party members, 6 young men with college or university degrees, and 2 young men who are married.
