Man prosecuted for smashing car, forcing driver to kneel and apologize in Binh Duong

On August 17, information from the Investigation Police Agency of Thu Dau Mot City Police (Binh Duong), the unit has initiated a case, prosecuted the accused and executed an order to temporarily detain Tran Tan Phong (46 years old, residing in Thu Dau Mot City) to investigate the act of disturbing public order.

In addition to disturbing public order, Tran Tan Phong's case file was also consolidated by the authorities to investigate and clarify his intentional acts of damaging property and humiliating others.

Tran Tan Phong is the person who smashed a car and forced the driver to kneel down and apologize on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street (Hiep An Ward, Thu Dau Mot City), causing public outrage in recent days.

According to the case file, at around 12:45 on August 11, Tran Tan Phong drove a car with license plate number 61A-901.78 on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street and turned left onto Le Chi Dan Street (Hiep An Ward). At the same time, Mr. PTS (26 years old, residing in Ben Cat City, Binh Duong) drove a car past Phong's car.

Thinking that Mr. S. was deliberately blocking his way across the street, Phong immediately accelerated to chase after him and repeatedly cut in front of Mr. S.'s car. After that, Phong asked Mr. S. to stop the car, picked up a 30cm long cow bone on the sidewalk, and rushed forward to smash the car window.

When Mr. S. got out of the car, Phong cursed at him, forced him to kneel down and apologize, and threatened to beat him. Even though driver S. knelt down and clasped his hands to apologize, Phong was still aggressive. Only when people around came to stop him did Phong stop and leave.

The incident was captured by a nearby security camera and shared by people on social networks.

Outraged by Phong's behavior, the online community asked the authorities to investigate and handle the matter strictly.
