The great solidarity bloc of the Vietnamese people is indivisible.

Unity is the dominant, sustainable, and consistent endogenous strength of the Vietnamese people throughout history. Therefore, hostile and reactionary forces have never given up their plots to divide the great unity bloc of our nation. They are looking for every way to “evolve” and make us “self-evolve” with increasingly sophisticated plots and tricks. They carry out a strategy of deepening and creating pretexts for internal conflicts, aiming to divide within the Party organization; divide the Party from the State; divide the Party, the State from the people; divide within the family between the parents’ generation and their children; divide regions, ethnic groups, religions, etc.

They use various methods to incite division such as: planting pragmatism in the way of life, causing pragmatism to rise and cause conflicts; taking advantage of complex issues left by history to incite conflicts; inciting religious followers and ethnic minorities to divide national unity; bribing cadres, youth, students, etc. They write provocative propaganda articles in many genres, such as the poem “The Rivers of Struggle” by blogger Dieu Cay Nguyen Van Hai. That incitement spreads doubt, leading to mutual suspicion, from which conflicts arise.

Regarding the policies of our Party and State in developing transportation, opening economic, industrial, agricultural, defense projects... that require land clearance, they incite people to protest. They incite ethnic minorities to deepen the conflict between Kinh people and ethnic minorities with arguments such as "Kinh people occupy land of the Montagnards", "Kinh people dominate the Montagnards". That incitement once caused the consequence of the riot in the Central Highlands in 2014. Or the particularly serious shooting incident in Cu Kuin district (Dak Lak) in June 2023, which was carried out in an organized manner to divide national unity.

Regarding the work of organizing cadres, they spread the argument that in the Central Committee and the Politburo there are factions fighting each other and competing for positions. They take advantage of dissatisfied and wavering cadres and party members, forums and relationships to spread wrong views, slandering and attacking our regime, influencing the people, especially gullible youth, students, artists, dignitaries, religious followers, ethnic minorities...

Although over the past decades, hostile forces have used all kinds of tricks, plots, and schemes to sabotage the revolution and destroy the endogenous strength of our nation, the great unity of the Vietnamese people cannot be divided. However, we must be extremely alert and vigilant against the tricks of hostile forces.

To resolve and combat these sophisticated tricks, it is necessary for Party committees, authorities at all levels and all people to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of our Party at the 13th National Congress that: "All activities of the political system and cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees must serve the interests of the people. Harmoniously resolve interest relationships in society; protect legitimate and legal rights and interests, constantly improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people". Continue to grasp and properly handle the relationship "between economic growth and cultural development, implementing progress, social justice, environmental protection". This is the basis for perceiving and properly resolving the principled issue of development and promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc today.
