Commencement of social housing project in southern urban area of ​​Hai Duong city

Speaking at the launching ceremony of the project, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung said that Hai Duong plans to develop 33 industrial parks with a total area of ​​5,661 hectares and 61 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​3,213 hectares. When industry develops, new requirements will be raised that need to be focused on, especially the issue of ensuring accommodation and living conditions for workers and laborers.

According to the survey results of localities, there are currently more than 10,000 people in need of buying or renting social housing in the province. Hai Duong strives to complete the construction of nearly 16,000 social housing units by 2030. The social housing project in the new urban area south of Hai Duong City by Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company is the first project to implement the Social Housing Development Project of Hai Duong province in the period of 2023-2030.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung requested Thanh Dong Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company to focus resources on capital, machinery, equipment and labor to proactively coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to promptly resolve issues arising during the project implementation. The enterprise must ensure the fastest and highest quality implementation; ensure compliance with approved planning and design. The Provincial People's Committee commits to always accompany the enterprise, ready to support and create conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly and effectively.

The social housing project in the new urban area in the south of Hai Duong City has a scale of about 1.9 hectares, arranged with a variety of apartment types, including 43 townhouses, 4 8-storey apartment buildings with 336 apartments, with a total floor area of ​​about 32,310 m2. The apartments have an area of ​​45-77 m2, arranged with 1-3 bedrooms. It is expected that by the fourth quarter of 2024, the investor will complete the project, hand it over and put it into use.
