The environmental quality management certificate affirms the efforts of Thu Nam Toan Tri Hai Cooperative (Nam Sach, Hai Duong) in maintaining safe, environmentally friendly production, meeting the requirements of sustainable development.
On the morning of December 25, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance coordinated with the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment (Vietnam Cooperative Alliance) to hand over the ISO 14001:2015 environmental quality management certificate, training documents, records, and 300 kg of microbial products for treating aquaculture environment to Thu Nam Toan Tri Hai Cooperative (Nam Sach).
Previously, the Institute of Science, Technology and Environment had come to survey the production situation and the level of environmental contamination in aquaculture at the cooperative. After testing and assessing the quality of the water environment, the unit had prepared an ISO environmental quality certification file for the cooperative and provided additional support with materials, documents, and preparations to help the cooperative continue to perform more effectively.
Supporting documents and biological products for cooperatives to improve the quality of aquatic products, help cooperatives enhance their management capacity and protect the environment during production, contributing to the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
Thu Nam Toan Tri Hai Cooperative currently has more than 150 fish cages concentrated in Nam Tan, Quoc Tuan, and Cong Hoa communes (Nam Sach). All cages are applied according to VietGAP standards.
