On the morning of June 9, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong City organized for more than 1,400 students to take the test to assess their ability to enter high-quality grade 6 for the 2024-2025 school year at 3 key secondary schools in Hai Duong City.
Candidates take the competency assessment test at Ngoc Chau Primary School and Ngoc Chau Secondary School (Hai Duong City).
According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, it rained heavily in the early morning, so many parents brought their children to the testing site early to avoid any unexpected situations. However, the heavy rain also made it difficult for parents and candidates to get to the testing site. Many parents, after bringing their children to the testing site, still stood in front of the school gate, causing traffic jams at times.
Hai Duong City Police were present early to regulate and direct traffic. The city’s Youth Union was also deployed at the checkpoint to support parents and students.
According to the plan, the test time will start at 8:00. It is expected that after 9:00, candidates will leave the exam room. Candidates will take the math and Vietnamese test (60 minutes) in the form of multiple choice and essay questions.
According to the enrollment plan for grade 6 of key secondary schools in the 2024-2025 school year of Hai Duong City People's Committee, Binh Minh Secondary School was assigned 120 quotas, a decrease of 40 quotas compared to the previous school year; Le Quy Don Secondary School was assigned 200 quotas, Vo Thi Sau Secondary School 120 quotas, equivalent to the previous school year.
