Today, the National Assembly passed many important resolutions and laws.

According to the program, today (February 19), the last day of the 9th Extraordinary Session, the National Assembly will hold a plenary session in the hall, voting to pass many important resolutions and laws.

Specifically, in the morning, from 8 to 9:45 a.m., the National Assembly will pass the Resolution of the National Assembly on the investment policy for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction project; Resolution on piloting a number of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; Resolution on specific mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project; Law on Promulgation of Legal Documents (amended); Law on Organization of Local Government (amended); and Resolution regulating the handling of a number of issues related to the arrangement of the state apparatus.

After that, the National Assembly met separately and voted to pass a Resolution on the plan to invest in additional charter capital for the 2024-2026 period of the parent company - Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC)...

From 10 a.m., the National Assembly held its closing session and voted to pass two resolutions, including a resolution supplementing the 2025 socio-economic development plan with a growth target of 8% or more and a resolution piloting a number of policies to remove obstacles in science, technology and innovation activities.

The National Assembly then listened to the National Assembly Chairman's closing speech. The session will be televised and broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam.
