In response to Humanitarian Month, as of May 22, the Nam Sach District Red Cross Society has allocated funds and mobilized more than 300 million VND to support people in difficult circumstances in the district.
Nam Sach District Red Cross Association in coordination with Nguyen Dao Pagoda (Nam Sach Town) provided regular subsidies to 10 disadvantaged cases.
The Association presented 275 gifts to people in difficult circumstances, including 22 gifts worth 500,000 VND each from the district's Humanitarian Fund. Coordinated with the Nam Sach Youth Volunteer Club to repair a house for a poor household with a budget of 15 million VND; coordinated with the Tam Duc Volunteer Club (Nam Sach) to support all materials to build a house for a household in difficult circumstances.
During the Humanitarian Month, 3 units registered to provide regular support to 36 disadvantaged cases in the district through the district Red Cross. They are Viet Trung HD Animal Feed Joint Stock Company, which donated 48 million VND; Ben Thanh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, which donated 26 million VND; and Nguyen Dao Pagoda (Nam Sach town) which donated 16 million VND.
*From 2 - 23.5,Minh Tan Ward Red Cross Association(Kinh Mon) actively mobilized philanthropists, agencies, and businesses to support and present 137 gifts (each worth 180,000 VND) to households in particularly difficult circumstances in the ward. Of which, Tien Trung Company Limited presented 50 gifts worth 500 kg of rice, each worth 180,000 VND.
This is an activity in response to the humanitarian month to promote and arouse the spirit of charity, sharing and encouraging the less fortunate to rise up in life.
*After 2 days (May 20 and 21),"Red Drops of Charity" program in 2022 organized by the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hai Duong City in coordination with the Provincial General Hospital942 units of blood were collected. Blood donors were officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of Hai Duong City.
This is the first blood donation program organized by the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Hai Duong City. It is expected that in 2022, the city will organize 2-3 blood donation campaigns, striving to collect 1,500 units, an increase of 500 units compared to the assigned target.
Many cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of Hai Duong City participated in blood donation.
*Chi Linh City Red Cross SocietyCoordinated with agencies, units, and businesses to support 22 households in difficult circumstances, for a period of 1-5 years with a support level of 500,000 - 1 million VND/month; awarded 3 breeding cows worth nearly 60 million VND in total; supported 30 million VND for house repairs; presented 267 gifts, each worth 200,000 - 500,000 VND to people in difficult circumstances and poor households in the city.
