Visitors to Hai Van Quan can use a 3D map to visit the relic and observe the majestic natural panorama on the top of Hai Van Pass.
The Hue Monuments Conservation Center, the pilot implementation unit, said that visitors can visit Hai Van Quan via a 3D digital map with 9 points. This is a check-in platform, recording the presence of tourists at the relic to provide a multi-interactive experience at Hai Van Quan.
The 3D digital map recreates the majestic natural panorama of Hai Van peak, allowing visitors to admire and explore the historical sites of the construction through the ages, from the formation process to important milestones in the history of territorial defense. The solution gives visitors the opportunity to enter an interactive world where culture, history and technology blend together, bringing a unique and interesting experience.
Visitors only need to use their smartphones to touch the check-in panel with an NFC chip at the attraction, from there they can access each area and event milestone. The 3D map also has a remote check-in function, allowing users to interact with 9 important relics of Hai Van Quan anywhere in the world. Each destination is associated with historical stories and detailed images, helping users feel like they are embarking on a journey to explore the heritage without having to move.
After 20 days of implementation at Hai Van Quan, the project has attracted more than 2,000 check-ins and created 200 memorable moments. The solution also allows visitors to save and share their experiences on their personal pages and websites, motivating visitors to spread positive stories and inspiration about Vietnam's heritage.
Hai Van Quan was built at an altitude of 490 m above sea level in 1826. This is a military fortress guarding the top of Hai Van Pass, with a prime location, known as the "throat" of Hue Capital. With a strategic vision, the Nguyen Dynasty relied on the natural terrain to build a special fortress, maximizing its military features. The project contains many cultural and historical values and is today a famous scenic spot.
On August 1, the relic located between Thua Thien Hue province and Da Nang city was inaugurated and opened to visitors by the two localities after 4 years of restoration.
