Hai Duong organizes Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day concentrated in March and April

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day is held from February to May; organized centrally from March to April. It is expected to focus on organizing in Cam Giang district from March 26-28, integrated with the spring festival at the Mao Dien special national relic of Literature Temple. In Hai Duong city, it is expected to be held in April 2024 at the walking street, Bach Dang night market and the Provincial Library.

In addition, departments, branches and localities also organize seminars, exchanges, discussions, storytelling based on books; exchange and introduce books; organize book reading contests, book review contests, introduce book records; book signing, book donation; exhibitions, displays, introductions of books of publishing units; book donation activities, etc.

Through organizing activities on the occasion of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day to encourage and develop the reading movement and spread reading culture in the community, create a favorable reading environment; form reading habits in families, schools, agencies, organizations, contributing to building a learning society...
