In the 2024-2025 school year, for the first time, the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training organized a competition for excellent teachers of specialized subjects (physical education, fine arts, English) according to the new 2018 general education program.
On the morning of December 23, the Department of Education and Training opened the Primary School Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year in Hai Duong City.
The contest attracted 96 teachers of cultural subjects for grade 4 and specialized subject teachers from 12 districts, towns and cities in the province, an increase of 48 teachers compared to the contest last school year.
Teachers compete in two parts: reporting on educational measures and practicing teaching. In which, teachers of cultural subjects record videos of reporting on measures and practicing and send them to the organizing committee; teachers of specialized subjects report on measures and practice teaching directly.
The number of teachers taking the exam increased because this was the first time the Department of Education and Training organized exams for specialized subjects according to the new 2018 general education program.
After the opening ceremony, specialized subject teachers began the reporting test at Hai Tan Primary School (Hai Duong City).
From December 24-25, the jury will judge the video reports on teaching methods and practice for the exam of 4th grade cultural subjects teachers. On December 26, teachers will take the practical exam at Kim Anh Primary School (Kim Thanh) and Thong Nhat Primary School (Gia Loc).
The contest is expected to conclude and award prizes on January 6 in Hai Duong city.

The 2023-2024 primary school teacher competition has 48 teachers participating. The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training awarded 35 excellent teachers.
