Hai Duong completes the security and order protection force at the grassroots level.

According to Hai Duong Provincial Police, by June 12, localities in the province had completed the consolidation and unified organization of forces participating in the Security and Order Protection Team at the grassroots level.

Localities have reviewed and selected members from the civil defense forces, part-time commune police, civil defense teams and recruited additional members from other sources to ensure requirements for establishing security and order protection teams at the grassroots level. The province has a total of 1,341 security and order protection teams at the grassroots level with 4,248 members.

The provincial police and Chi Linh city police have organized training courses for forces involved in implementing the Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level and members of the Security and Order Protection Team at the Grassroots Level. From now until the end of June, the remaining localities will complete this work.

The Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level will take effect from July 1, 2024. It is expected that on July 1, Hai Duong will simultaneously organize the launching ceremony of the Grassroots Security and Order Protection Team in districts, towns, and cities.
