Hai Duong completes meeting to encourage young people to join the army

By February 23, all districts, towns and cities in Hai Duong had completed meetings and exchanges to encourage young people to prepare to join the army in 2024.

Districts, towns and cities have presented over 2,500 gifts to young people, each worth from 300,000 to 2 million VND. Some localities also established delegations to visit and present gifts to young people joining the army in difficult circumstances; and rewarded young people with temporary deferments who volunteered to apply for military service. All communes, wards and towns in the province also organized activities to meet and encourage young people to join the army.

On this occasion, for the first time, Tu Ky district combined meetings and exchanges with organizing military camps for young people preparing to join the army with many activities such as camping, traditional exchanges and talks, folk games, etc.

In 2024, Hai Duong province assigned 2,500 youth enlistment quotas to 12 focal points under the Ministry of National Defense and Military Region 3. To date, 100% of eligible youth are ready to join the army. According to the plan, the military enlistment ceremony will take place on the morning of February 25.
