On February 19, the Military Service Council of Cam Giang district organized a meeting, exchange and gave gifts to young people preparing to join the army in 2024. This is the first district in Hai Duong to organize this activity.
Leaders of Cam Giang district and young men preparing to join the army offered incense and flowers at the Memorial Temple of the district's heroic martyrs.
At the meeting, young people preparing to perform military service were reminded of local traditions and given gifts of encouragement. Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union and Cam Giang District Youth Union presented Youth Union badges to new recruits and certificates of merit to 130 young volunteers who volunteered to join the army this time, the largest group was from Luong Dien commune with 17 people.
In 2024, Cam Giang district will hand over 195 young men to 5 military units including the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, Brigade 144 (General Staff), Battalion 18 (Division 395, Military Region 3), Regiment 236 (Division 361, Air Defense - Air Force), Regiment 95 (Division 325, Army Corps 12) and 18 citizens performing their duty to join the People's Public Security. Among the new recruits mentioned above, 130 young men volunteered to join the army, 64 have university and college degrees, 6 are party members...
