The Provincial Party Standing Committee has announced to stop receiving funding for construction planning and investment proposal research of FLC Group Corporation in the province.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee assigned the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant agencies and units to organize and implement in accordance with regulations.
Previously, at the meeting on November 10, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee reported and proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approve the policy of stopping receiving funding for planning for construction planning projects of FLC Group Joint Stock Company in the province. Relevant localities are responsible for arranging funding from the state budget to organize construction planning and submit it to competent authorities for approval according to regulations. In case localities need to call for funding for construction planning, they must follow the instructions of the Ministry of Construction, the instructions of the Department of Finance and other relevant regulations. Approve the policy of stopping allowing FLC Group Joint Stock Company to study and propose investment in the province.
In 2020 and 2021, the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle that FLC Group Corporation would sponsor funding for the establishment of 5 planning projects, including: Zoning plan for urban, resort, ecological, sports and entertainment area of Ben Tam Lake in Bac An commune, Hoang Hoa Tham commune and Ben Tam ward (Chi Linh); Zoning plan for urban, resort, ecological, sports and entertainment area of Vinh Tru islet in Dong Lac commune (Chi Linh); adjusted construction plan for the new urban area Bac Cau Han, in Nam Sach district and Hai Duong city; Zoning plan for urban, resort, ecological, sports and entertainment area along Thai Binh river (Hai Duong city) and detailed plan for the construction of the complex of Cultural, Service, Trade, Hotel and Townhouse Center in the central area of Hai Duong city.
In Notice No. 33-TB-TU, dated December 15, 2020 of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also approved the policy of selecting a consulting unit and signing contracts to implement construction planning projects using organizational funds of organizations and individuals, including construction planning projects proposed by FLC Group Joint Stock Company for funding.
