Hai Duong hosts the Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the Department of Construction, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Table Tennis Federation, the 2023 Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament will be hosted for the first time by Hai Duong province, taking place from September 9 to 13, at the Hai Duong Sports Gymnasium.

Up to this point, in addition to domestic table tennis teams such as Hanoi, Hanoi T&T, Police, Army, Hai Duong men's and women's table tennis teams, there is an international team, Guangdong team (China) registered to compete. It is expected that there will be about 100 players, competing in 4 events: men's team, women's team, men's singles and women's singles.

According to the plan, the international athletes will arrive at Noi Bai airport on September 8. From September 10-13, the matches will take place in 3 time slots: 8:00, 14:00 and 19:30.

On the evening of September 13, the men's and women's singles finals, summarizing, awarding and closing ceremonies will take place.

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 Con Son Cup International Table Tennis Tournament has nearly 30 members, led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Van Doan, Director of the Department of Construction, Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Table Tennis Federation. The Organizing Committee has sub-committees: Professional, personnel records, competition organization; Reception, celebration, emulation and rewards, sponsorship mobilization; Security and order, health care, competition venue.

The Organizing Committee requires the subcommittees to properly perform their functions and tasks, ensuring the tournament takes place safely and with high professional quality.
