Hai Duong proactively responds to thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning, and hail

According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, due to the influence of weak cold air combined with wind convergence above 1,500 m, from the night of May 1 and May 2, Hai Duong area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Rainfall is generally 10-30 mm, in some places over 30 mm.

From the afternoon and night of May 3 to May 4, Hai Duong area will continue to have showers and thunderstorms, locally with moderate to heavy rain.

To proactively respond to thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requests the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of districts, cities, towns, relevant sectors and units to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts of natural disasters and weather to promptly inform authorities at all levels and people to proactively prevent and minimize damage caused by natural disasters.
