Hai Duong proactively responds to thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind

According to the Hai Duong Province Hydrometeorological Station, on April 24, due to the influence of weak cold air combined with high-altitude wind convergence, Hai Duong's weather will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Rainfall is generally 10-30 mm, with some places over 30 mm.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station also stated that it is currently the transitional season, and the situation of thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind is complicated.

To proactively respond to thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters in the province, on the morning of April 24, the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue requested localities and units to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts of natural disasters and weather to promptly inform authorities at all levels and people to proactively prevent thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Organize inspections and reviews of natural disaster response plans to proactively deploy when situations arise according to the "4 on-site" motto and overcome consequences quickly and promptly.
