On the afternoon of October 17, after 2 days of exciting competition, with many attractive and dramatic matches, the 5th Hai Duong Province Volleyball Tournament for the elderly and middle-aged in 2023 closed at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium.
The athletes competed with all their might, giving the audience exciting matches. At the end of the tournament, Thanh Mien district won first prize in men's volleyball; Chi Linh city won first prize in women's volleyball.
The organizers also awarded prizes for the oldest and best male and female athletes.
The tournament took place on October 16 and 17 with the participation of 257 athletes, from 12 women's teams and 11 men's teams from districts, towns and cities. The tournament was jointly organized by the Provincial Elderly Association Representative Board and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Duong to encourage the physical education and sports movement among the elderly, helping the elderly live happily, healthily and usefully.
