According to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, it is expected that from September 1 to December 14, localities in the province will review poor and near-poor households to assess the results of the poverty reduction program in 2023 and serve as a basis for implementing poverty reduction policies and social security policies in 2024.

To accurately implement the program of reviewing poor and near-poor households, the Provincial People's Committee requires localities to follow the correct procedures and forms. The review process must have the full participation of relevant levels, sectors and people to monitor; absolutely do not chase after achievements to distort the poverty situation of the locality; omit poor and near-poor households. The investigation and review unit actively applies information technology in collecting databases and connecting databases on residents. The results of reviewing poor and near-poor households must accurately reflect the real situation of people's lives.

The review unit collects information once a month (on the 15th of each month). Based on the review, appraisal, and inspection of the criteria for poor and near-poor households in December, the People's Committee at the commune level will carry out procedures to recognize poor households, near-poor households, households that have escaped poverty, and households that have escaped near-poverty in 2023.
