On the morning of January 16, at the Provincial Children's House, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong opened the provincial high school badminton tournament for the 2023-2024 school year within the framework of the 2024 Hai Duong Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival.

The tournament attracted 396 players from 47 high schools in the province. The athletes competed in the following categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.
The tournament is expected to take place with about 293 matches. On January 16, there will be about 80 matches.
