Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc was appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Party Committee's leaders; the Party Committee, Editorial Board and key staff of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and Economic & Urban Newspaper.

At the ceremony, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Organization Committee Trieu Thi Ngoc announced the decisions of the City Party Committee's Standing Committee.

According to Decision No. 4594-QD/TU dated April 13, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee decided to transfer comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi (born in 1974), Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, to work at the Economic & Urban Newspaper to be appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the Economic & Urban Newspaper.

In Decision No. 4595-QD/TU dated April 13, 2023, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee decided to transfer comrade Nguyen Minh Duc (born in 1970), Editor-in-Chief of the Economic & Urban Newspaper, to work at the Hanoi Moi Newspaper to be appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper.

Presenting the decision and congratulating comrade Nguyen Minh Duc and comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen said that in recent times, the personnel work of Hanoi city in general and with the press agencies of the capital in particular has been strictly implemented according to the regulations of the Central Government, in accordance with the practical situation of the city.

Emphasizing that Hanoi Moi Newspaper and Kinh te & Do thi Newspaper are two key newspapers in the press system of the capital, the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of the capital, therefore, the personnel work of the two newspapers always receives special attention from the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

Congratulating comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi, the new Editor-in-Chief of the Economic & Urban Newspaper, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen acknowledged the efforts of comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi personally and the collective Party Committee, Editorial Board, and units of Hanoi Moi Newspaper in the past time in overcoming difficulties, basically solving internal problems of Hanoi Moi Newspaper; building regulations; completing procedures to repair the headquarters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper...

“Based on his professional capacity, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has decided to transfer comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi to work at the Economic & Urban Newspaper to appoint him as Editor-in-Chief,” said the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee.

Congratulating comrade Nguyen Minh Duc, the new Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee assessed that he is a well-trained cadre with many years of experience in leadership work at central press agencies and the Economic & Urban Newspaper.

In particular, from June 2014 to present, in his position as Editor-in-Chief of the Economic & Urban Newspaper, comrade Nguyen Minh Duc, together with the collective leadership, cadres, reporters and employees of the Newspaper, has successfully completed the task of propagating the city's activities; turning the Economic & Urban Newspaper from a newspaper with many difficulties into a newspaper with a position among the press agencies.

Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc also served for many years as a delegate of the City People's Council, Vice President of the Hanoi Journalists Association, and Vice President of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc should soon start implementing the work, arranging and stabilizing the organization of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper, perfecting the regulations and rules of the agency; implementing the regime and policies well; paying attention to the lives of cadres and workers, building internal solidarity, gradually stabilizing and developing the Newspaper. From there, arousing and promoting the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and concentration of intelligence of the staff, reporters and employees of the Newspaper, contributing to further improving the quality of professional work and activities of the Newspaper; building the Hanoi Moi Newspaper to truly become a "common home" for the collective of cadres, reporters and workers.

Emphasizing that the Project to repair the headquarters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper I at 44 Le Thai To, Hoan Kiem District has been approved by the City People's Committee, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested the collective leadership of Hanoi Moi Newspaper to coordinate with the City Party Committee Office and departments, branches and sectors to implement the procedures in accordance with current legal regulations.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee requested that the Party Committee and the Editorial Board of Hanoi Moi Newspaper and the Economic and Urban Newspaper create all conditions to support and help comrade Nguyen Minh Duc and comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi to successfully complete their assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the city's leaders.

Expressing his emotion upon receiving the new assignment, Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc, the new Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee for their attention, trust, and responsibility. The Editor-in-Chief of Hanoi Moi Newspaper affirmed that he would promote the spirit, responsibility, solidarity, and unity with the collective of cadres, reporters, and employees of Hanoi Moi Newspaper to strive to fulfill the political tasks assigned by the city.

Sincerely thanking the support of the staff, reporters and employees of the Economic and Urban Newspaper who have accompanied him throughout his time working at the Newspaper, comrade Nguyen Minh Duc also hopes that the Newspaper will continue to support comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi to successfully complete the tasks assigned by the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Editor-in-Chief of the Economic and Urban Newspaper, Nguyen Thanh Loi, expressed his gratitude for the attention and recognition of the city's leaders. He affirmed that in his new position, he will unite with the Economic and Urban Newspaper to successfully complete all tasks assigned by the city.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Loi also respectfully expressed his thanks to the staff, reporters and employees of Hanoi Moi Newspaper for accompanying and supporting him during his time working at the Newspaper and hoped that the Newspaper would continue to support Comrade Nguyen Minh Duc in completing his tasks.
