The South Korean men's football team will have a friendly match with the Vietnamese team on the evening of October 17 at the World Cup Stadium in Suwon, south of the capital Seoul.
According to a reporter in Seoul, the Korean team is in high spirits after a convincing 4-0 victory over Tunisia, in which midfielder Lee Kang-in (currently on the payroll of Paris Saint-Germain - France) scored two goals. This is also the second consecutive victory of the Korean team under coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
Vietnam (ranked 95th in the world) may not be a big challenge for South Korea (ranked 26th in the world). However, coach Klinsmann and his colleagues see the match with coach Philippe Troussier's team as an opportunity to prepare the "Taeguk Warriors" for the upcoming matches in the World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers.
