Speaking at the conference, the leader of Hai Duong Power Company Limited said that in 2024, the weather is forecast to have many extreme developments, customers' electricity demand will increase suddenly, causing the risk of local overload during peak hours. Hai Duong Power recommends that customers join hands to use electricity economically, actively participate in the load adjustment program (DR), implement reasonable production plans, change production times, avoid peak months (dry season from May to July), especially peak hours from 12:00 to 15:00 and 21:00 to 24:00.
Hai Duong Electricity currently sells electricity to 631,000 customers with a commercial electricity output of 6.56 billion kWh in 2023; it is the unit with the 4th/27th commercial electricity output in the Northern Power Corporation. On this occasion, Hai Duong Electricity honored the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Office and 3 enterprises including Vicem Hoang Thach Cement One Member Co., Ltd., Hoa Phat Steel JSC, and Tan Nguyen Metallurgy JSC as units that use electricity economically, effectively and actively participate in the load adjustment program.
