Tranh Temple tourist site welcomes nearly 10,000 visitors

From February 8-12 (29th of Tet to noon of the 3rd day of Tet Giap Thin), there were nearly 10,000 visitors to Tranh Temple (Ninh Giang), an increase of 30% compared to the 2023 Lunar New Year.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Head of the Tranh Temple Management Board, Dong Tam Commune (Ninh Giang), on the occasion of Tet this year, the Tranh Temple Management Board has arranged 2 check-in points outside the temple gate and inside the guest house fish pond to serve tourists to visit and take souvenir photos. The Management Board also focuses on improving the landscape, ensuring environmental sanitation, fire prevention and fighting; and preventing begging in the relic area.

In 2023, Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee recognized Tranh Temple, Dong Tam Commune as a national architectural and artistic relic as a tourist destination. Tranh Temple has also been recognized as a product that meets 4-star OCOP standards.

Notably, in March 2023, Tranh Temple Festival was recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a national intangible cultural heritage.

These are the scoring factors, plus the beautiful sunny weather during Tet, suitable for sightseeing activities, so the number of visitors to Tranh Temple increased sharply.
