Investing in facilities to meet training requirements and provide human resources

On the afternoon of September 20, Comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation worked with Hai Duong University to evaluate the training, human resource supply and facilities for teaching and learning.

Standing Deputy Secretary Le Van Hieu affirmed that improving the quality of training and providing human resources for the development of the province and the country is an urgent requirement.

To promote the effectiveness of training after the merger, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the leadership and teachers of Hai Duong University to unite in implementing the tasks of educational innovation, study the mechanism of inviting experts to support improving the quality of training. Determine a development plan suitable for the system of pedagogical practice schools. The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested departments, branches and sectors to study the plan to adjust the planning suitable for the development of Hai Duong University in the coming time.

For degraded places, especially at facility 3 in Hai Tan ward (Hai Duong city), the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that there should be an early plan to repair, maintain, and renovate the landscape, ensuring savings, meeting the teaching and learning needs of the school for the next 3-5 years. The school needs to focus on building its reputation, developing a team of teachers and lecturers to meet the needs of a multidisciplinary, multi-field school, a key point in the Red River Delta region. Research tuition support plans, develop programs to encourage students to be creative, start-up, and dynamic, meeting the human resource needs of society.

After the merger decision, Hai Duong University has 8 functional departments, 11 faculties, 2 centers and 3 affiliated pedagogical practice schools (preschool, primary school, secondary school) and 1 private high school under the direct management and supervision of the school.

The school has opened 10 more undergraduate training majors, including 8 pedagogical majors and 2 economic and technical majors. The school aims to become a key university in the Red River Delta region, training multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary human resources for the province and other provinces.

The enrollment scale of Hai Duong University has increased significantly while the facilities in many places have degraded and become overloaded, significantly affecting the quality of training and human resource supply.
