The certificate is organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the Institute for Academic Research and Testing Development (headquartered in Germany). The exam is available on paper and on computer.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Decision No. 441/QD-BGDDT approving the joint organization of the German language proficiency test and certificate TestDaF between Hanoi University of Science and Technology and the Institute for Academic Research Support and Testing Development (Gesellschaft für Akademische Studienvorbereitung und Testentwicklung eV, abbreviated: gast, headquartered in the Federal Republic of Germany).
Accordingly, the two parties are jointly organizing the TestDaF German language proficiency exam at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, in the form of paper-based and computer-based exams. Exam questions, exam registration process, exam organization process; facilities and equipment for organizing the exam; ensuring security, safety and confidentiality before, during and after the exam; staff, technicians and employees of the joint parties participating in organizing the exam shall comply with gast's regulations on organizing the TestDaF German language proficiency exam and Vietnamese law.
The term of the joint exam organization activity is 5 years. Every year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology and gast are responsible for reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training on activities related to the organization, implementation and management of the joint exam organization, issuance of German language proficiency certificates TestDaF, and periodically every 6 months updating the database on joint exam organization, issuance of foreign language proficiency certificates with foreign countries of the Ministry of Education and Training.
