On April 13, according to information from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the school officially achieved the second cycle of accreditation certification for quality accreditation at the educational institution level from HCERES, French Republic.
The inspection period is 5 years, valid until April 10, 2029.
This is an important step in enhancing the reputation and quality of Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

In addition to the Quality Accreditation Certificate, recommendations from 6 areas covering all activities of Hanoi University of Science and Technology will be carefully considered and planned for implementation by the school, ensuring that learners receive the best educational experience, contributing to the successful implementation of the "Project to develop Hanoi University of Science and Technology into the group of leading higher education institutions in Asia" according to Resolution No. 14/NQ-CP of the Government.
HCERES is a full member of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), using the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG).
In addition to French training and research institutions, HCERES conducts international assessment and accreditation of foreign universities, French educational institutions abroad, and international joint research units. Vietnam has 6 higher education institutions that have received accreditation certification from HCERES.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology achieved the first cycle of accreditation certification along with three other schools in the period 2017-2022, including University of Science and Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), University of Science and Technology (Da Nang University) and University of Construction.
Next, Ton Duc Thang University achieved the standard for the 2018-2023 period; Hanoi University of Science and Technology achieved the accreditation certificate for the 2023-2028 period.
