Voters of Hai Duong City propose to speed up the progress of the Pearl Island Eco-Zone Project to avoid wasting land.

On the morning of November 21, at the People's Committee of Thach Khoi Ward (Hai Duong City), the delegation of the 17th Provincial People's Council and the delegation of the Hai Duong City People's Council met with voters of Hai Duong City before the regular meeting at the end of 2024 of the Provincial People's Council.

At the meeting, voters proposed that the land be reclaimed to implement the Ngoc Island Ecological Zone Project, which has not been implemented for more than ten years, leaving the land fallow and wasteful, while people no longer have land to cultivate. People asked authorities at all levels to consider speeding up the implementation of this project.

When asked by the delegation of the Provincial People's Council to respond to the above proposal, Mr. Nguyen Huu Phuc, Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Duong City People's Committee, said that the construction of the Ngoc Island Ecological Area Project of Nam Cuong Hanoi Group Joint Stock Company was very slow.

Hai Duong City People's Committee has repeatedly urged the investor; at the same time, it has recommended to departments, branches, and the Provincial People's Committee to speed up the project implementation progress, but it is still slow.
