Searching 3 locations including the 1st floor of Halo Building (60 Nui Thanh, Ward 13, Tan Binh District), room 102 of building 586/8 Cong Hoa (Ward 13, Tan Binh District) and a company at 1039 Cach Mang Thang Tam (Ward 7, Tan Binh District), the police arrested 86 people, seized evidence including 109 desktop computers, 67 laptops, 1 printer, 118 mobile phones of various types, 2 cars, 46 motorbikes of various types, 27 bank cards.

Initially, the police determined that these people impersonated employees of credit card issuers, calling credit card holders to advise them to follow malicious links and withdraw money through software.

After the victim agrees, they ask to take a photo of both sides of the credit card and provide the OTP code; then swipe the card through booths on a website to transfer money from the victim's card to the subjects' e-wallet account for appropriation.

Currently, Tan Binh District Police are continuing to coordinate with professional units of the Ministry of Public Security to expand the investigation of the case.
