Cam Giang police seized more than 2,000 illegal electronic cigarettes

Cam Giang District Police (Hai Duong) discovered and seized more than 2,000 electronic cigarettes of unknown origin.

During a local peak period of attacking, suppressing crime, and ensuring security and order in Cam Giang district, the Working Group of the Economic - Drug Team, Cam Giang District Police discovered more than 2,000 electronic cigarettes of unknown origin.

Specifically, at 11:35 a.m. on April 25, the Working Group of the Economic - Drug Team, Cam Giang District Police discovered and seized 1,000 electronic cigarettes of unknown origin belonging to Chieu A Tai (born in 1994, permanent resident of Quang Lam Commune, Dam Ha District, Quang Ninh; currently residing in VSIP Luong Dien Urban Area, Cam Giang). The above cigarettes were hidden by Chieu A Tai to sell to others.

Number of e-cigarettes seized

Through verification, Chieu A Tai bought 1,000 e-cigarettes from Chen Wei (born in 1991, Chinese nationality, currently residing in Trang Ky village, Tan Truong commune, Cam Giang district). Cam Giang district police continued to seize 1,033 e-cigarettes and 1,768 bottles of essential oils used for e-cigarettes, of unknown origin, at Chen Wei's rented room in Trang Ky village. The total value of the goods was determined to be more than 300 million VND.
