Dong Lam Church, ancient Van To communeThe church was built in 1934 on a campus of more than 21,000 m2.The church bell tower still retains its original ancient features, following the Western Gothic architectural style.Inside the church, the ironwood pillars are carved with intricate patterns and are almost intact.The shrine is elaborately carved and gilded, creating solemnity and respect.The image of the birth of Jesus is displayed in front of the shrine.Dong Lam parish has 54 households following the religion with 194 parishioners.With a large campus and beautiful scenery, the church is also a playground for students and children in the community.A gate built in 1938 behind the church, still retains its ancient beauty.Panoramic view of the church at night decorated with magical shimmering colored lights by the lakeThe church was decorated for Christmas, many people came to visit and take pictures.PHUNG BAN
