Neymar's chance to return to Europe

According to El Nacional, Bayern Munich are monitoring Neymar and could bring him back to Europe next season. The former Barcelona star's contract with Santos only runs until June 2025. He will become a free agent when the European transfer window opens.

Bayern are said to be looking to add a left winger in case Kingsley Coman wants to leave after the 2024/25 season. If Neymar performs well enough in his six months at Santos, the opportunity for him to return to Europe will be open.

Previously, Neymar revealed that he almost joined Bayern in the summer of 2013. However, a call from Pep Guardiola changed the Brazilian player's mind about going to Germany.

After returning to Santos, Neymar had an impressive performance with 3 goals and 3 assists after 7 matches. However, the player born in 1992 has just suffered an injury.

On March 10, the Brazilian player was injured and could not participate in Santos' match against Corinthians in the quarterfinals of the Paulista State Championship. However, instead of focusing on treating the injury, Neymar was caught appearing at the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Neymar's injury also leaves open the chance for him to play for Brazil in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in South America.
