Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has decided to change the purpose of use of nearly 69,200 m2 of land in Quang Phuc commune and Tu Ky town, Tu Ky district to traffic land.
Of which, there are more than 49,000 m2 of rice land, nearly 8,400 m2 of agricultural land, the rest is residential land, irrigation land, river land, and cemetery land.
The above land area is for the Investment Project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 391 from Hai Duong City to the East-West axis of the province.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Hai Duong Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board the above converted land area and nearly 20,700 m2 of existing traffic land within the project implementation boundary in Quang Phuc commune and Tu Ky town.
The East-West Axis Road Construction Investment Project of Hai Duong province has a total investment of nearly 1,400 billion VND. The project has a total route length of more than 14 km, of which the section in Hai Duong city is more than 2 km, the section in Tu Ky district is more than 12 km. The investment capital comes from the provincial budget in the 2-phase medium-term public investment plan. Of which, the 2021-2025 period invests about 500 billion VND; the 2026-2030 period invests more than 892 billion VND.
The investment in this project aims to improve the efficiency of route exploitation, ensure traffic safety and meet the increasing traffic demand on the route.
