The program "Independence Star" depicts the patriotism and indomitable will of the nation.

In commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024), National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024) and the 79th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' tradition day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024), on the evening of August 25, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine, the Central Public Security Party Committee - the Ministry of Public Security chaired and coordinated with the Hanoi City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee, and Nhan Dan Newspaper to co-organize the art and political program "Sao Doc Lap" in 2024 (year 9) with the theme "Uncle Ho's words - Words of the country".

Comrade Tran Luu Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Economic Commission, Deputy Prime Minister; leaders of central and local ministries, departments, branches... attended the program.

The August Revolution of 1945 is a great epic, the most brilliant milestone in the history of the nation in the 20th century, and also the day the Vietnam People's Public Security was born. 79 springs of steadfastly following the path of socialism, the People's Public Security force has always accompanied the country, is the core force on the front line of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety, contributing to maintaining political stability, protecting a peaceful and happy life for the people, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development.

Over the years, “Independence Star” has become an annual program, eagerly awaited by many veteran revolutionaries, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the autumn days of August.

The artistic content is unique, depicting the noble cultural and historical values ​​of patriotism and the indomitable will of many generations of heroic Vietnamese people in the struggle, construction and protection of the independence of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam.

The program recalls the heroic memories of the nation, the glorious pages of history written with blood and bones, with the sacrifices and struggles of our entire Party, army and people, represented by the shining examples of revolutionary veterans and heroes of the people's armed forces on all fronts.

With a duration of 80 minutes, the political and artistic program "Independence Star" with the theme "Uncle Ho's words - The words of the country" includes 3 chapters (Chapter I - The Fatherland calls my name; Chapter II - Legendary epic; Chapter III - Vietnam stands tall, the flying dragon) and the opening act - Vietnam is brilliant in spring.

The program brings the audience heroic and touching moments, with pride, gratitude, faith and aspiration to rise up and join hands to build the country. That aspiration has been fueling the traditional fire so that today's generations continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite, build and protect our country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, veteran revolutionaries, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, wounded and sick soldiers, and Labor Heroes of the renovation period.
