The special art program “Vietnam - Aspiration to Reach Far” co-organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Culture Newspaper will take place on the evening of June 5 at the Hanoi Opera House.
“Vietnam - Aspiration to Reach Far” is a political art program with depth and musical flow, contributing to nurturing generations of Vietnamese people, especially the young generation, in patriotism and the spirit of national solidarity. Thereby, arousing the desire for innovation, creativity and the spirit of dedication to contribute to creating miracles in the process of building a strong, innovative and deeply integrated Vietnam.
With 3 contents: "The person who seeks the shape of the country", "The call for patriotism", "Building and constructing the Fatherland", the program will create an artistic space with many levels of emotions whose source is love for the homeland, the desire to contribute, gratitude, and affection for beloved Uncle Ho.
During the program, the audience will enjoy many songs and melodies that have been through the years performed by famous artists. The program opens with the mashup "The Country's Lullaby - The Melody of the Fatherland" performed by the Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan - Hoang Tung. This is followed by sweet, familiar melodies filled with nostalgia for the image of the father of the nation, performed through the songs "Front Footprints" (singer Trong Tan - Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Selena Dance Group), "From the Lotus Village" (Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan and Selena Dance Group), "The South forever remembers the grace of the One" (singer Anh Tho and Selena Dance Group), "The One Who Finds the Shape of the Country" (People's Artist Quoc Hung, singer Ha My with Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Selena Dance Group).
Part 2 of the music night presented to the public footage of the documentary “National Resistance - A Great Turning Point of the Vietnamese Revolution”; revolutionary songs praising the love for the Fatherland and the spirit of dedication, volunteering to fight and build the country. Including the songs “Singing on the Homeland Road” (performed by: Dong Xanh Group), “Singing for My People” (Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung), “Harvest Days” (Dong Xanh Group and Thien Thanh Group), “Fire and Smoke in Binh Tri Thien” (People’s Artist Quoc Hung - Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Selena Dance Group); Volunteering (Meritorious Artist Lan Anh - Hanoi Star Children’s Club).
The melodies with the rhythm of a new day, bright and heroic in part 3 of the music night brought uplifting emotions, arousing the desire to contribute to all people. Including "Construction Song" (Thien Thanh Group), "A Circle of Vietnam" (singer Thu Thuy and Selena Dance Group), "Aspiration for Youth" (Meritorious Artist Ploong Thiet - Thien Thanh Group), "The Road We Travel" (singer Trong Tan, Choir of the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Selena Dance Group).
The overall art program creates a musical story with many emotional levels, with the thread running through it being love for the country and people, praising the leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh.
76 years ago, the Call for Patriotic Emulation was born in a special historical context. After the Viet Bac Victory (Autumn-Winter 1947), following the initiative of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party Central Committee issued a Directive to launch a patriotic emulation movement, gathering the strength of patriotism and the tradition of national solidarity, creating a practical movement of action for the entire people, mobilizing all forces, all initiatives and talents of the entire people into the resistance war for national construction.
Implementing this Directive, on June 11, 1948, President Ho Chi Minh issued an appeal, officially launching the patriotic emulation campaign. 76 years have passed, the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people have launched and organized many vibrant and widespread emulation movements, contributing to creating a great driving force, encouraging and motivating compatriots and soldiers nationwide to overcome all difficulties and hardships, join hands and unite to create great victories for the nation in the cause of national liberation, national unification, building and defending the Fatherland.
Editor-in-Chief of Culture Newspaper Nguyen Anh Vu shared that time has passed, but the content, value and meaning of the Patriotic Emulation Call are still intact. The art program "Vietnam - Aspiration to Reach Far" not only looks back at the 76-year historical milestone but is also a deep gratitude of today's generation.
