Actively take care of Tet for union members and workers

Comrade Tran Thanh Hai, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, presented the comprehensive emulation flag to the Industrial Park Trade Union and the Tu Ky District Labor Federation.

Speaking at the conference summarizing the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2022 of the Provincial Federation of Labor on the morning of January 6, comrades Tran Thanh Hai, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial People's Council requested that Hai Duong trade unions at all levels make efforts to take care of Tet for union members and workers, and share difficulties with workers. It is necessary to prepare carefully, on schedule, successfully and comprehensively organize the Congress of Trade Unions at all levels and the 19th Congress of the Provincial Trade Union. Focus on improving the quality of grassroots trade unions to successfully complete the key tasks of 2023.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich awarded the Prime Minister's certificate of merit to Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Tran Van Cuong.

In 2023, Hai Duong trade unions at all levels actively participated in building policies and laws; cared for the lives of union members and workers. Continued to promote the program "Welfare of union members". Strengthened propaganda, mobilization, and education of union members and workers on the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; resolutions and programs of trade union work. Focused on directing and organizing well the trade union congresses at all levels, successfully organizing the Provincial Trade Union Congress.

With the theme "Caring for jobs and lives of workers", in 2022, the grassroots trade union directly above the grassroots level signed a cooperation agreement with 15 partners in the fields of healthcare and consumer products with discounts for union members. The Provincial Federation of Labor and grassroots trade unions directly above the grassroots level organized the program "Tet sum vay - xuan binh an" at 21 enterprises, giving nearly 4 billion VND in hardship allowances and bus tickets to nearly 6,000 union members. The Provincial Federation of Labor supported 1,422 union members, workers, and union members' families affected by the Covid-19 epidemic with a total amount of more than 1.4 billion VND. On the occasion of Workers' Month, trade unions at all levels supported the construction and repair of 10 "union shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances.

At the conference, Mr. Tran Van Cuong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, received a certificate of merit from the Prime Minister for his outstanding achievements in trade union work, contributing to the construction and protection of the Fatherland. The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded comprehensive emulation flags to 2 collectives; thematic flags to 3 collectives with outstanding achievements in trade union work in 2022. The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded comprehensive certificates of merit to 13 collectives and 6 individuals.
