Ben Chilwell, Lukaku, Kepa... are the names that Chelsea leaders really want to sell in the summer transfer window of 2024.

The London club are planning a major squad overhaul after two years under Todd Boehly, with Chelsea spending more than £1bn on transfers alone.

According to The Athletic, The Blues will sell a number of players, including key names from last season and members who are no longer in coach Enzo Maresca's plans.

Ben Chillwell was the first player to be released, as he did not fit the new coaching style of the new Italian strategist.

The 27-year-old left-back is one of the highest earners at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea are willing to sell Chilwell for £20m.

However, the England international's extensive injury record will negatively impact the transfer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's number 1 goalkeeper for the 2023/24 season - Djordje Petrovic is also likely to be put up for sale.

Coach Maresca prefers Robert Sanchez in goal over Petrovic because of his good footwork. The Blues hope to earn at least £25 million from this deal.

The case of Conor Gallagher is unclear, because his contract only expires in June 2025 and negotiations for a new contract are at an impasse.

Goalkeeper Kepa is set to leave after an unsuccessful loan spell at Real Madrid. Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad are in talks to sign the Spanish goalkeeper.

Chelsea hope to sell Lukaku to Napoli

Chelsea are also hoping to receive good news from Napoli, as the Serie A side see Lukaku as the perfect replacement for Victor Osimhen on the attacking front.

Lesley Ugochukwu, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja, Cesare Casadei and David Datro Fofana could all be sold if suitable offers come in.
