The program "Golden Autumn Uong Bi 2023" was recently held in the Ba Tang mountain area of Phuong Hoang range, Bac Son ward, Uong Bi city (Quang Ninh), attracting thousands of tourists to visit and experience.
Phuong Hoang Range (in Bac Son Ward, Uong Bi City, Quang Ninh Province) is located about 45km southwest of Ha Long City center. This place is known by many tourists and backpackers as a beautiful sightseeing, camping, check-in, and trekking spot in Quang Ninh.
From around March to August every year, the Phoenix Range is covered in a lush green of grass and pine forests. From mid-October to January of the following year, this place is "dressed" in a burnt yellow coat of grass.
The poetic scenery changes color with the seasons, making Phoenix Peak known to many as a "miniature Da Lat" in Quang Ninh.
This is the first time the program "Golden Autumn Uong Bi" has been organized. On the sidelines of the program, there are many attractive activities such as the Mountain Climbing Competition to conquer Ba Tang - Phuong Hoang peak, motorized paragliding performance, Phuong Hoang outdoor culinary competition, art exchange between folk dance clubs, street music...
Nearly 200 climbers of all ages participated in conquering the route to the top of Ba Tang, which is about 1.5 km long and has a steep slope.
The first professional motorized paragliding performance on Phoenix Peak created a new and attractive experience for tourists.
Delicious and attractive rustic dishes are skillfully and elaborately prepared by chefs in the "Phoenix Outdoor Food Competition". After the judging, visitors can experience the local specialties for free.
Phoenix Hill with its burnt grasslands and steep terrain like a steppe... is a new tourist product attracting visitors to Quang Ninh.
Tourist Pham Thi Tra My (Quang Ninh) was excited as this was her second time coming to Phoenix Mountain: "I came to Phoenix Peak for the first time during the burning grass season to take Tet photos. Many families come to picnic and check-in at Phoenix mountain range on weekends.
In late autumn, many tourists choose to stay overnight in tents and camps on top of Phoenix Mountain to be able to "hunt clouds" in the early morning.
