Mr. Phung Quang Trung in Hai Duong City and his colleagues in the Skyline group have been carrying out a free photo restoration project to commemorate the people who died in the terrible flash flood that occurred in Lang Nu (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai).
At the end of September, Mr. Phung Quang Trung (living and working in Hai Duong City) received a message from Hoang Xuan Phuc (14 years old) in Lang Nu, wishing to have a complete photo of the 4 family members. After the terrible flash flood in Lang Nu, Phuc and his younger brother Hoang Gia Bao (7 years old) lost both their parents.
Mr. Trung accepted and completely restored the photo of Phuc's family from separate personal photos of the faces of the 4 family members. After 18 hours of continuous work, Mr. Trung and his team members completed the photo of Phuc's family.
He hopes that the photo will be a spiritual support for Phuc and his brother to lean on each other, try to study hard, and live well. In the near future, Trung will print and frame the family photo and hand it to Phuc. Previously, in Lang Nu, a sister who lost two young children contacted him to restore the family photo and he completed it.
The story of the reconstruction of Phuc's family photo after being posted on social media received thousands of views and words of encouragement from the online community for the children, the lucky survivors of Lang Nu.
Immediately after that, Mr. Trung continued to receive many messages asking to restore photos of relatives of Lang Nu villagers. Therefore, Mr. Trung and the Skyline group decided to carry out the project "Skyline - Storm-proof photos". The project was urgently implemented as a memorial incense stick to commemorate the people who died in Lang Nu. The group will restore, print, frame photos for free and deliver them to the relatives of those who were unlucky enough to die after the recent flash flood.
On October 3, he and his team continued to successfully restore the family photo of Nguyen Van Hanh in Lang Nu. Hanh's father passed away last year and the recent devastating flash flood also took away his mother.
