Bui Thi Xuan Bridge will be built on the idea of ​​Chu Dau ceramics.

The work "Quintessence of Vietnam" won first prize in the architectural design competition for Bui Thi Xuan bridge inspired by Chu Dau pottery.

On April 3, Hai Duong City People's Committee announced the results of the architectural design competition for Bui Thi Xuan Bridge under the City Traffic Development Project.

The first prize went to the work “Quintessence of Vietnam” by the Road Design Consulting Joint Stock Company. The work was inspired by Chu Dau pottery, a typical handicraft product of Hai Duong. At the same time, the bridge structure evokes the image of female general Bui Thi Xuan, who was good at archery, horse riding and elephant training. The work “Pen and Ink” by the Traffic Engineering and Architecture Consulting Joint Stock Company won the second prize, symbolizing the land of the Eastern region, which is famous for its academic achievements and love of learning. The group of experts from the Dai Thang architectural competition won the third prize with the work “Integration and Development” symbolizing the light from the eastern coastal region, expressing the development aspirations of Hai Duong City.

The second prize winning work “Pen and Ink” recalls the land of the Eastern region of scholars and studiousness.

Bui Thi Xuan Bridge is a level 1 traffic project, permanently built with reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete across the Thai Binh River in Ngoc Chau, Nam Dong wards and Tien Tien commune. Based on the results of the competition, Hai Duong City will carry out the next procedures and investment steps to implement the construction.

The work "Integration and Development" with the symbol of the light from the eastern coastal region won third prize.
