The Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) has just issued a warning that currently, on social networks, some websites have phone numbers impersonating the Electricity Industry Customer Care Center.

This fake switchboard receives and responds to customers' information about the electricity industry, instructs customers to contact the official switchboard of the electricity industry to take advantage of electricity customers' fees, and disrupts information affecting the rights and reputation of the electricity industry.

Therefore, EVNSPC recommends that customers using electricity in 21 southern provinces and cities (from Ninh Thuan to Ca Mau) when having any electricity requests that need to be answered or supported, just call the 2 hotline numbers of Southern Electricity Customer Care Center 19001006-19009000; or visit the websitehttps://cskh.evnspc.vn/, use EVNSPC CSKH App/Zalo application to get timely instructions, avoid being taken advantage of by bad guys.

Specifically, recently, phone numbers 19006592, 19000184, 1900299202 and website have appeared.www.chamsockhachhang/dien-luc-long-an/to impersonate Long An Electricity Switchboard to profit from electricity charges of customers in Long An province.

When calling these fake phone numbers, customers will be charged very high fees (from 5,000-8,000 VND/minute) without receiving information or timely resolution of electricity requests.

When people call 1900299202, they are introduced to a switchboard that provides general information with music on hold. Even though they cannot connect to the operator, they are still charged 5,000 VND/minute.

Then, contact number 190006592 to hear the introduction of the hotline to answer information. After connecting, the listener is instructed by a female voice to contact the official hotline of the electricity industry, 19001006, when needing information on electricity supply at Duc Hoa Electricity (Long An). When checking the fee, it is charged 16,000 VND/1 minute and 20 seconds.

In addition, this website also introduces and provides links to the switchboards of many other provincial power companies such as Hau Giang, Dong Thap, Hai Duong, etc. with the same content introducing and guiding electricity industry services. At the end of the introduction is the fake switchboard number 1900299202.

Notably, the fake switchboard's introduction content uses information and addresses of electricity companies and their affiliated branches to intentionally impersonate and take advantage of customers who want to contact the electricity industry.

Currently, Southern Power Corporation has only 2 unique numbers, 19001006 or 19009000, customer care website https://cskh.evnspc.vn/ and EVNSPC CSKH App/Zalo application channels of Southern Power Corporation Customer Care Center, serving electricity customers in 21 southern provinces and cities.

Customers should not call any other phone number because Southern Power Corporation does not allow or authorize any organization, unit or individual to perform customer care functions of the Southern Power sector.

Previously, in 2020-2021, Southern Power Corporation deployed decal stickers to introduce and identify the customer care hotline number 19001006-19009000 at each customer's home with a quantity of 7.2 million decals with the aim of providing a phone number for customers to contact when there is any request for electricity services.
